Operational building Hoogvliet
Under an enormous prefabricated steel roof (Remco space construction), room has been made for the aerial work platforms of this rental company. The associated office is also under the roof. The office has concrete floors with underfloor heating, wooden prefabricated facades, and a wooden ceiling.
In this office, we have applied balanced ventilation with moisture recovery. The visible metal channels are perforated at the top to ensure even ventilation without a cold trap.
Colour design
In this office, natural materials are the colour and material scheme tone-setters. The Oregon Pine window frames are stained in light wood colour. The inner walls combine lauen meranti multiplex (sorted by colour) and bulletin board. The ceiling consists of white chipboard panels and laminated spruce beams. Finally, the floor is a cast floor and a warm grey version.
Light design
The lighting in the office is a fixture designed by Robin Hood Productions. This fixture gives even light on the ceiling through the opal shade and good lighting in the workplace through the mirror optic. Especially for this project, this lamp was produced by us because it was no longer available.
